What You'll Do
- Tasks may be routine and repetitive within any of the food production or warehouse departments.
- 100% accurate counting and packing is essential; and can involve up to the majority; if not entire workday. Multi-tasking is necessary.
- Attention to detail is mandatory as filling orders correctly and in full is very critical to the operations of the company.
- Ability to read production labels correctly is required. The labels are in English.
- Material handlers are held responsible for correctly packing orders that are required to pack. Employees must initial each label that they are in charge of packing and/or counting.
- Work within the departments of assembly, prep, ovens, beverage, fulfillment and pack-out – all are considered production and can be used to support in any/all areas from time to time or business needs required
- Need to keep the pace of the entire team and flow in general of the production staff to meet specific requirements and KPI’s
- May be required to rack products, debox or decant materials, assemble food products and meals, break down boxes and containers.
- Will participate in change overs, counting, packing, sorting, staging, working on the line, basic sanitation practices/duties at times, prepping, and slagging.
- Maintain a food safe environment, complying with State, Federal and Revolution Foods food safety policies.
- Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices by maintaining a clean, organized, hazardous free workstation. Keeps the work area clean and sanitary.
- Establish a culture of respect, hard work, consistency, and effective communication with all team members.
- Good attendance and punctuality is required and will be monitored closely, the company follows a point system that is used to base evaluation, probation period, and disciplinary actions as needed
What You Bring
- Know proper handling of product, preferably in a manufacturing or distribution facility (food was be the preference)
- Experience and track record of keeping the packing equipment and work area in a safe and orderly manner.
- Know and understand how to keep area clean.
- Have basic understanding of GMP’s
- Know and understand safety guidelines and principles
- High school education or equivalent preferred. Good manual dexterity and hand/eye coordination. Ability to communicate and work well with others in a team effort.
Working Conditions
- Must be able to bend, stoop, push and lift-up to or greater than 60 lbs.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, being ahead of the other non-heavy lifters in regards to pace
- Must be able to stand and perform all physical job functions for at least 8 hours continuously
- Must be able to work in areas of hot and/or cold temperatures during their full shift
- Must be able to pull a full pallet of product that can weigh up 4800lbs with the use of a manual pallet jack
- Frequently requires standing, lifting, walking, reaching, stooping, bending, smelling, listening, speaking, and seeing to perform the essential job duties.
- Work conditions vary, quitting time will vary based upon production needs, and flexibility is critical.
- Exposure to potentially dangerous machinery and equipment are present in the plant. Potential electrical, mechanical, and chemical, hazards are also present. The noise level is high and constant. Floors are damp and slick.
- Ability to listen to directions and have communication with team members, leads and supervisors granted the above work conditions
Shift & Hours: Monday – Friday, 5am-1:30p/ 4:30am- 1pm - Flexibility may occasionally be required to support production needs, operational issues, or special projects.
Base Pay
- $17.11 USD/hourly
