What You'll Do
- Ensure food quality standards and HACCP plans are followed from delivery through re-therm, preparation, and final meal service
- Set up, break down, stock, prep, assemble, and serve meals, snacks, and beverages following recipes and instructions
- Support meal service operations including breakfast and lunch service, food management, setup, and cleanup
- Operate Point of Sale (POS) system in compliance with school contracts and government regulations, including handling student IDs, payments, and change
- Record daily activity including waste, participation data, variances, and completion of daily checklists and logs
- Communicate menu items and promote breakfast participation while gathering customer feedback when appropriate
- Maintain a clean, sanitary, and food-safe environment in compliance with State, Federal, and Revolution Foods standards
- Follow all safety procedures including proper equipment use, storage, hazard prevention, and floor safety
- Support tray racking, staging, and equipment handling as needed
- Follow company green waste, compost, and recycling procedures
- Perform additional duties as assigned
- Maintain flexibility to work across multiple school sites and varying schedules, including early morning and mid-day shifts
- Acknowledge that school assignments and schedules may change based on operational needs
What You Bring
- 1+ year of customer service experience in a high-volume food service or restaurant environment
- Basic math and computer skills
- Strong attention to detail with ability to read, write, and communicate in English
- Ability to work well in a team and provide excellent customer service
- Ability to follow instructions and maintain punctuality
- Commitment to Revolution Foods’ mission of providing nutritious meals to children
- Ability to complete required onboarding, background check, fingerprinting, TB test, and ongoing compliance training
- ServSafe Food Handler certification (or ability to obtain upon hire)
- Ability to use UKG mobile system for timekeeping
- Ability to safely lift and carry 25–50 lbs
- Knowledge of food safety procedures and kitchen equipment preferred

- Frequent standing, walking, bending, lifting, and physical activity throughout the shift
- Exposure to kitchen and food preparation environments
- Must maintain safety-first practices at all times
- Requires flexibility in schedule including early mornings and mid-day shifts
Base Pay:
- $18.61 USD hourly
