The Manager, Office of the CEO, plays a critical role in supporting the CEO and ensuring alignment, clarity, and execution across the Executive Team. This role serves as a central coordination point for high-impact initiatives, manages the CEO’s operational flow, and produces high-quality Board and executive materials. The ideal candidate is proactive, highly organized, and able to operate with sound judgment, confidentiality, and professionalism in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary operational support for the CEO, ensuring his priorities, meetings, and deliverables are organized and executed with discretion.
- Prepare agendas, briefing materials, talking points, and follow-ups for all CEO and executive meetings.
- Anticipate the CEO’s needs by preparing information, materials, and next steps in advance to ensure seamless execution of priorities.
- Schedule all Board of Directors and Committee meetings and manage full coordination, logistics, communication, and preparation requirements.
- Develop and distribute all Board and Committee materials, including decks, pre-reads, agendas, reports, and minutes, with accuracy and polish.
- Coordinate deadlines and ensure executives submit timely, high-quality content for Board packages.
- Partner with department leaders to gather insights, data, and updates needed for CEO and Board meetings.
- Drive alignment and follow-through on CEO-directed initiatives, tracking commitments and cross-functional deliverables.
- Monitor key initiatives, identify risks or delays early, and escalate issues to the CEO with recommended solutions.
- Support communication flow across the Executive Team and key stakeholders, improving processes that enhance executive operations and decision-making.
- Draft executive communications, summaries, and updates to ensure clarity, alignment, and timely dissemination across the organization.
- Assist with leadership meetings, company-wide updates, and offsite planning while building strong cross-functional relationships.
- Maintain strict confidentiality and represent the CEO with professionalism, producing high-standard written and presentation materials.
Qualifications
- 5+ years in executive support, program management, operations, or related roles
- Strong ability to create executive-level presentations and reports (PowerPoint & Excel)
- Exceptional written communication, organization, and prioritization skills
- Confidence managing strict deadlines and complex workflows
- Experience handling sensitive information and high-level stakeholders
- Prior experience interacting with or supporting Board of Directors activities
- Experience at a multi-site, operationally complex, or mission-driven organization
- Strong background in project management and executive operations
Salary Range: $95,000 - $115,000
