This role plays a critical role in supporting the Sales Team by managing appointment scheduling, conducting lead research, assisting with Request for Proposals (RFPs), and providing administrative and marketing support. This role ensures the Sales team is organized, prepared, and able to maximize opportunities to grow participation and revenue.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage calendars and schedule sales appointments, presentations, and client meetings for the Sales team.
  • Coordinate follow-ups, reminders, and pipeline activities to ensure no opportunities are missed.
  • Maintain accurate records of scheduled activities in CRM (Salesforce or equivalent).
  • Research potential clients, community partners, and market opportunities.
  • Build and maintain lead lists, qualify prospects, and support outbound outreach efforts.
  • Track industry trends, competitor activity, and bid opportunities.
  • Assist with gathering documentation, formatting, and submission of RFP responses.
  • Maintain a library of proposal templates, references, and past responses for efficiency.
  • Support cross-functional coordination between sales, culinary, operations, and finance to ensure complete and timely submissions.
  • Handle sales-related administrative tasks such as tracking contracts, preparing reports, and managing documentation.
  • Support sales marketing activities, including preparing collateral, presentations, email campaigns, and client communications.
  • Assist in tracking KPIs and generating reports on pipeline activity, lead conversion, and sales outcomes.

      Qualifications

      • 2+ years of experience in sales support, scheduling, lead generation, or administrative coordination.
      • Experience working with RFPs and proposal coordination.
      • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
      • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
      • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and CRM systems (Salesforce preferred).
      • Detail-oriented, resourceful, and proactive problem solver.
      • Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.

      Salary Range: $58,000 - $73,000
