Video Producer Intern (Remote)
Who We’re Looking For:
MyHealthTeam is seeking a video producer intern to help support our in-house Video Team during the months of September through December 2024. This is a paid, remote, non-union, temporary position and an excellent opportunity to gain experience in digital media and documentary filmmaking with a team of expert producers and editors. Reporting to the executive producer, the video producer intern will provide production and administrative support to our producers and video content manager to create short-form videos for people with chronic health conditions.
What You Get To Do Every Day:
- Real-people casting of medical experts and people with chronic health conditions, including research and outreach, email communication, talent tracking, and scheduling
- Acquiring signed releases and invoices
- Requesting transcripts
- Searching for stock and archival footage
- Video captioning in Adobe Premiere
- Overall production support
What We’re Looking For:
- A junior video producer with experience in casting and documentary or digital media production — ideal for recent college or MFA graduates, current film students, or equivalent experience
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Someone who is detail-oriented, organized, a self-starter, a good listener, and a team player
- Experience with Adobe Premiere, Photoshop, and Google Workspace
- Interest in consumer health, health equity, and patient advocacy
- This is a remote position, and having your own computer and software tools is crucial for this role. We have an office in downtown San Francisco — working in our office is optional, but not required.
Skills That Aren’t Required, but Definitely a Plus:
- Editing skills
- On-set and remote production experience
- Experience with Asana, Zoom recording, and Brightcove
MyHealthTeam is committed to creating an inclusive space where current and future employees are valued for their skills, experiences, and unique perspectives. Even if your experience does not check every bullet point, we still highly encourage you to apply. The best hires do not always check off every box of a job description.
This is a temporary, full-time, remote position. We are offering a great opportunity to make a difference in the health care space.
- Our corporate headquarters are in San Francisco, and we have teams on both the West and East Coasts.
- Everyone at MyHealthTeam believes in the company mission, and we are committed to serving people facing chronic conditions.
