What you’ll do

At Enpal, we are expanding our AC hardware and energy system portfolio, including inverter-adjacent components, PV systems, and storage integration. We are looking for a Hardware Engineer (f/m/x) who takes end-to-end ownership of AC hardware systems – from concept and design through validation to real-world performance.

This is a system-level engineering role with strong technical depth and cross-functional responsibility.

• Develop and optimize AC hardware and system designs in the area of inverters and energy systems
• Take ownership of hardware components from concept phase through series production readiness
• Define and evaluate test and validation strategies to ensure performance and reliability
• Work closely with external development partners and suppliers
• Align regularly with Product, Quality, and Operations teams on technical implementation
• Contribute to system-level decisions impacting cost, reliability, and scalability
  
  

What you’ll bring

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Engineering, or similar field
• Extensive experience in AC hardware, inverter systems, or power electronics
• Strong understanding of system-level engineering and technical requirements
• Experience working with European/German standards for electrical systems
• Comfortable working in cross-functional and supplier-driven environments
• Fluent in English; German is a strong plus
