Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented and highly analytical Inventory Analyst to join our Material Planning team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and managing end-to-end inventory projections and deep-dive analyses across the entire Enpal Group. Your work will provide a transparent and accurate view of how inventory decisions impact our weekly and monthly working capital. This role is ideal for someone who is both financially savvy and supply chain-aware—with a passion for data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop short- and mid-term inventory projections across all Enpal business units, integrating operational context to enhance operational and financial forecasting.

- Translate material planning data into actionable forecasts and maintain dashboards and models to support decision-making.

- Monitor forecast accuracy weekly, explain key deviations (e.g. volume shifts, pricing, lead times), and present variance analyses to stakeholders.

- Build and improve recurring processes for inventory tracking, reporting, and continuous accuracy improvement.

- Collaborate with internal teams to align on demand and supply plans, and to automate tools that improve forecast visibility and efficiency.

- Identify root causes of forecast inaccuracies and implement data-driven solutions to address them.

Qualifications

· Languages: Fluency in English is required; German is a plus

· Skills: Excellent analytical abilities and interpersonal skills; strong grasp of data modeling, forecasting logic, and supply chain fundamentals

· Education: Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Finance, Business Analytics, Supply Chain, or a related field.

· Experience: First experience in inventory analytics, FP&A, or supply chain finance.

· Technical Proficiency: Advanced Excel (including programming) and SQL, D365 is a plus.
