Job Description

About the Role

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Material Planner to join our Material Planning team. In this role, you will ensure the timely and efficient management and distribution of materials essential for Enpal’s core operations. This is a critical position for a detail-oriented professional with a strong grasp of supply chain management, procurement processes, and inventory control in the renewable energy sector.

The Material Planner is responsible for ensuring the availability of materials at the right time and place to support seamless operations. This role requires meticulous inventory monitoring, effective stakeholder coordination, and proactive problem-solving to mitigate risks related to material shortages or surpluses. The ideal candidate will act as a key liaison between production, logistics, and procurement teams, ensuring alignment and smooth execution of supply chain activities.

  • Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor inventory levels of your assigned item groups across all warehouses to ensure material availability while avoiding excess stock and obsolescence.
  • Analyze stock data to identify potential shortages or surpluses and implement effective mitigation strategies.
  • Collaborate closely with Procurement, Logistics, and Operations to resolve supply issues and ensure timely material availability.
  • Clearly and proactively communicate stock risks and material status to key stakeholders.
  • Maintain robust follow-up structures to ensure accountability, alignment, and continuous improvement across teams.
  • Contribute to enhancing inventory performance by driving automation, improving planning tools, and addressing procurement or delivery challenges.


Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Languages: Fluency in English is required; German is a plus
  • Skills: Understanding of MRP/ERP systems and inventory management principles, excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, effective communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: First experiences in Material Planning, Procurement, or Supply Chain Management, preferably in the renewable energy sector.
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in Excel and D365 ERP.


Working Hours: 09:00-18:00 (Monday-Friday)
