The Total Rewards & Immigration Associate will play an integral role in administering our Mobility & Immigration programs, and gain experience and exposure to our compensation and benefits programs. Reporting to the Director, Total Rewards, this individual will collaborate within the Total Rewards and People teams and be responsible for administering the organization's global immigration and relocation programs across ~15 countries including the US, Canada, EMEA & APAC.
This position serves as the first point of contact for employee inquiries and escalations for all immigration, visas, and mobility topics. In this role, you'll work alongside the business, our legal and people teams, and liaise with our external counsel in these countries, to help solve these inquiries or issues as they arise.
This individual will also gain experience and exposure to all areas of total rewards, including our global compensation and benefits programs, and you are eager to gain more knowledge in these areas to improve your skills to become a well-rounded HR/People professional.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as a project manager that connects the business, our legal & people teams, and external counsel in multiple countries to own immigration and mobility topics, and to solve challenges in this area as they arise.
Respond to requests from legal counsel in multiple countries to provide data and updates on employee immigration status
Understand US visas and guide our People Team on US immigration topics
Provide support to DataRobot employees with immigration and mobility questions
Support employment issues (change of visa status, relocation, etc) as they arise
Onboarding and offboarding of our employees from our visa and immigration programs
Assist in developing total rewards programs to enhance employee experiences
Assist with global mobility of employees through transfer, relocation, and visa processing
Assist with total rewards (compensation & benefits) analysis and administration as needed
Partner with other members of the People team to deliver People programs and initiatives
Assist with ad hoc special projects as required.
Liaise with the TA Team regularly to maintain a pulse on immigration demands in the market.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
You have a desire to learn and grow in your career as a member of the People team and you’re confident in your decision-making skills, but also know when to ask for help

The ability to independently solve problems (aka you have the 'figure it out' factor)
Unrelenting work ethic
Strong attention to detail
Strong critical thinking skills and project management skills
Strong organization skills, with the ability to multitask
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or relevant field preferred
1-3 years of prior work experience supporting an HR team preferred
You have previous experience using Workday, or equivalent HR Systems preferred.
Proficient user of Google applications, Google Sheets, etc.
Demonstrated empathy in your work, and will balance company & employee needs
